Joe, you flew through the binding!!! I can't wait till I stop fearing that step... someday.
I'm super jealous of your routing setup. Thanks for sharing, I'm always blown away by what you accomplish. Very inspiring!

Re: Indian Rosewood low-tuned 12 String
Joe, I noticed the back strip right away and assumed you did it in purpose. If you are in the fence go do what Dennis suggests. The guys over at Lame Horse Guitars don’t use a back strip but instead glue down Texas circles in between the braces. They even call out the back strip as unnecessary in an...

Re: Indian Rosewood low-tuned 12 String
Joe, Sandblasted top, what did I miss? I'd also like to try cylindrical tops and backs as well. Nigel Forster references historic instruments in similar fashion. I've never heard a guitar with this type of shape but I imagine the longitudinal stiffness would have a sonic affect. Keep em coming. Than...

Joe, thank you for taking the time to write between the photos. I learn so much from your thought process. I’ve been jealous of your shop since my first visit to the forum. Either you have some serious natural light or... let me know what bulbs you put in your lights. Stunning photos! So warm. Can’t...

Grant,
Amazing thread!
I can't wait to see your adjustable neck take form yet again.
I learn so much from your sharing and hope to tackle a neck like that as well some day.
And I must say I am truly inspired by your innovation in bracing!
Thank you for taking the time to share!!!

Re: Organic Soundports
LOVE IT!!!
I am all for letting the wood speak for itself and to waste as little as possible. Character is a benefit, so long it is stable. I'm very much looking forward to this one coming together
I want to give it a shot now...
Best,
_Mike

Re: Size 2 Martin build coming late October
Grant, I just took a trip down memory lane with this one and plan on going through it again! When you refer to the Antes plan are you calling out the Parlor/small concert, 6-string, 12 fret to the body, slot-head that Lmii offers? I'm thinking about making one of these and plan on ordering one of th...
