Mike around the waist/side/tail and neck block area, should be ok as long as you do not over tighten the sides. If your mold is not 100% inline it could result in a split or twist. But mostly does not present a problem.

Off to a nice start as usual Joe, your building a 26 1/2" scale this means heavier bracing? A longer scale needs more tension to bring the strings up to pitch...will you be bracing her with any extra strength for this added tension.
