Thanks Steve.
I met up with Kelley's husband to talk about what he wants in an electric and gave him the guitar to take home. He pulled it out and checked the intonation on the 2B and 3G which needed a little work and he liked the correction and thought the action which we lowered slightly at Steve's was just about perfect.
Looks like this one is gone to a new home where it will be very much loved. Feels good.

Re: My first commission (Kelley's Guitar)
Kelley wrote a review for me to put up on my website. Thought I'd share it here...
'I play mostly fingerstyle guitar, and Ray did an excellent job of customizing the guitar to my style of play, creating an instrument with low action (and no fret buzz) and a rich, vibrant sound. In addition, his craftsmanship is impressive. The inlays are - at least to my eye - flawless and the woodworking is beautiful. Overall, I am very pleased with the instrument and would order from Ray again.'
I find it a little harder to build for a client as I'd prefer to have someone pick-up my guitar and want to buy it rather than hope to meet their expectations, so I'm really pleased that she likes it.
