Singlecut Protoype (Hollowbody?)
I'm getting ready to do a crazy amount of work. And the guys here at Luthiercom.org gave me this space to spread out and work through my builds. So I'm going to finish 2-3 old half started instruments and 2-4 prototypes. No ones buying right now, I have the wood and the ideas, and besides I'm bored just waiting for commissions to come in, and just writing articles. So wish me luck cuz I'm getting to work.
Not sure how I wanna build this one. My 1st thought was to do a Singlecut LP/ PRS style shape, but how predictible. That idea got melded with blending those 2 with a Gibson 335 and an Olson SJ. Then I thought of blending that with a New Collings I-35 Deluxe which is more like a Gibson 336 and all this as a single cut!! So we'll see where this one goes.

Re: Singlecut Protoype (Hollowbody?) M
Prepare to see the evolution!!!! This ones going to be my model M I think. Photo's when the wife gets home and I can get out to the shop. I got a 1976 335 in the shop and was like, "why am I trying to copy the guitars I really don't dig when I know exactly what the guitar built from the drawings above will look and sound like?" So I expanded into the Arch top'esque side of things. And pushed myself just a littler harder on the design end of things.

Not sure how I wanna do the sides yet. Carved/routed or bent. The center blocks are Bridge supports.
