Thanks for the rosette sanding tips Hesh! I'm sure going to try that.
And Z, I also like your circle cutting jig. Could you give us some pictures on its construction?
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Curly Maple #1
Thank you guys on kind words, sure Hesh we apreciate for the tips, we gona use it in future.
As i wrote before circle cuting jig is not fancy but make good job so here is couple pictures of jig so you guys get idea.I woeld prefer to make jig from thick plexyglass i dont know if there is 1/4" plexi on market, just for better visibility when you cut rosete.I made this jig when i did some other round stuff .Dept of dado is just to hide bolt head.Like center pin i used one 1/4 bolt..On the other part of the jig there is few hols but that is for what i needed before, you can make only one.I hope this will help.Any question are welcome.
On the sides if i find plexi i would put selfadhesive tape measurment

Hi Zdenko,
Thank you so much for taking time to post photos of your Circle Cutting Jig. I find them very informative and easy to understand on how to make the jig. Good idea on the adhesive measuring tape index marker. Keep your eyes open and I am sure you will find some 1/4" Plexiglas somewhere. Maybe you could even laminate a couple of sheets of 1/8" to get a total 1/4" plate thickness and even leave a channel so you don't need to cut a Dado slot. Hvala Ti!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Doesn't fit? Get a bigger hammer.

Z
This looks great. Gonna be a real beauty.
I like the rosrette cutter. When I made mine I needed thicker plexiglass than I had so I just glued up some pieces together with StewMac plastic binding glue. Or you can use "Duco" glue. Worked great.
Hesh,
Thanks for the tip on the rosette sanding. I am gonna remember that one. I hope.

Hey right on Z!!
Glad to see those doing good work for ya!
That Charles Buck chisel is late 19th century, best I can tell -
You can't get steel like that no more...
