Well, just wondering. I'm currently too ill to make such a trip and have to hang around here for the chemotherapy. Otherwise it would be well worth the trip to meet all the folks, have a little revelry and play some of those magnificent guitars you have created on the forum. Back to my inquiry, since i don't have a genuine GM guitar, would it, perhaps, be for sale?
regards,
Tom

I spent most of my money on guitars, women and single malt. The rest of it, I wasted.

Tom, I wish your health were better, not just so you could be here, but so you were able to do what you wish.tomlang wrote:Well, just wondering. Thanks, Hoss. Give it a spin and let me know how it will take to a thumb picker. That is thumb pick and two fingernails. I wouldn't know how to play any other way. Blessings, Tom

Dennis,
Thanks for your kind thoughts. Actually, by the grace of the Almighty, my cancer was caught very early, by accident. I had the best surgeon in the state zip out 2/3 of my pancreas and my spleen. Never a moment of pain. The fun part is the chemo which will last until December (just to be sure).
Chemo saps one's strength and sometimes lays you out but...
You guys have a blast this weekend. I'll be thinking about it. Pictures pictures pictures

I think I can do one better even, Tom - Andy Cohen is here, and I don't think I've heard many better pickers - I'll record him playing that and post it up!tomlang wrote:Thanks, Hoss.
