1958 ES-335 Dot neck build
Started a 1958 ES-335 Dot neck for myself. Can't decide on Cherry Red or Sunburst.

Beautiful. Definitely post more pictures along the way. What exactly is happening in the third photo?

Third one down the top is getting clamped to the rim assembly.sits it has an arch top just need some pressure in center to be sure. Since this is a a semi hollow body the maple center black has a shaped rib that glues in between the maple top plate and the center block.

Beauty! One of my all time favorite guitars- Did you carve that top? Any pics of that process?
I'll be watching this one!

-Looking at the top pic, it appears that it is a one piece top?? or is it laminated?

The top and back are 3 ply laminated veneers pressed into a form.
