That's looking very nice.
It's funny how so few people have ever seen ladder bracing anymore that it's like a new paradigm..

Dave's right: beautiful, clean work, Joe.
Did you have to use Duco Cement ("model glue"/"airplane glue")?
I'm generally not a fan of plastic binding materials, but that ivoroid is the perfect binding for this guitar. Looks fantastic. Invisible end seam in the soundhole ring too!

Great looking guitar, I do like the clean look of the top purflings and the bound sound hole looks awesome.

Joe, that is looking absolutely fantastic! And, I am betting that the sound will blow you away, too.
Thanks for getting back to this and letting us follow along.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I know most of you prefer wood bindings on your guitars but I've got a soft spot for ivoroid and tortoise celluloid bindings for the vintage style guitar that speaks most to me. And yes Dennis, on the last two I used Duco cement, this one I'm using Weld-On 16 plastic cement.
And yes Grant, I'm looking forward to some great sound out of this one. It's got a very powerful drum sound to the box now when I tap on it, always a good sign to me. Aside from the thermally treated wood it's also a bit deeper box than I normally build so we'll see.
