But I will say the rest of the guitar is going to look pretty darn nice.

The only thing I can say is I wish you could talk him into a white Mary Kay finish at least on that top . That's a nice grain pattern. I just hate covering up the grain on an ash Tele. I never made a Thinline but is there enough wood left on the back to belly it out or is the cavity too big thinning the back?
I'm also trying to figure out how you get so much work done ?

Nope, cavity is chambered too thin to give it a belly carve.
And to get the work done, I don't know... A.D.D.???
