But I will say the rest of the guitar is going to look pretty darn nice. :mrgreen:

The only thing I can say is I wish you could talk him into a white Mary Kay finish at least on that top . That's a nice grain pattern. I just hate covering up the grain on an ash Tele. I never made a Thinline but is there enough wood left on the back to belly it out or is the cavity too big thinning the back?
I'm also trying to figure out how you get so much work done ? :D

Nope, cavity is chambered too thin to give it a belly carve.

And to get the work done, I don't know... A.D.D.??? ;)

Filled the strap button holes with play dough so I could route my binding channels.

Bound top and bottom. My WB binding was too short so I had to put in the bow ties at the lower strap button.

Then I thought I'd take some pics of the scraped and sanded body with the neck that finally got here(not cool); not the best work, but I can trick it out.
